Scrap Card

This card is a good one to use up scrap strips left over from other project.  The strips are attached with eyelets.  The sentiment was computer printed.

I have learned that I do NOT like to set eyelets.

I bought a set of Fiskars spring loaded eyelet setters and they work pretty well. But they're noisy and if I use them to set multiple eyelets, the impact and vibration of the tool bothers my hands.

The Crop-o-dile is difficult to select the correct size for the eyelets and often crushes them rather than spreading the back rim properly.

The best eyelets I've found to use came from
Eyelet Outlet.  They're called "Quicklets" and you don't need a setter to use them!  You just make a hole, insert your eyelet, flip it over to the back side and insert the tip of a ball point pen.  Then you press down and pivot the pen to flare out the flange on the back of the eyelet.

No more banging around with a setter and you won't ruin the eyelet by using too much pressure either!

Here's a link if you want to check them out.    http://www.eyeletoutlet.com/  They offer free shipping on orders over $50 and be sure to check out their clearance items too.

If you like to incorporate shaped brads onto your projects they have a large selection to choose from too.
