Congrat-shoe-lation card

Each month at stamp club a SU demonstrator offers us three sheets of paper to use as a challenge.  We can do any type of project we want but most of us do cards with the papers.  The shoe images and sentiment are SU stamps. I cut the sentiment out with shaped scissors and just tied a piece of twine on it. Did some doodledots--there's that word again! with a white Signo pen and did a little inking using Color Box chalk ink.

All my cards are A2 size since they fit well into a Priority Box for mailing to the CFS shipper or directly to a military unit.

Super cute card! That is such a great idea your SU Demo had. I might have to tell mine about it! What you came up with is fabulous! tfs!

The papers are not SU papers. It's interesting paper that she purchased elsewhere. We pay $1 for the sheets to help pay her out of pocket cost on it.

I'd love for a SU demo to do this with SU paper! Their catalog is great but you just can't see the detail of the paper. So, I tend not to order patterned paper from them until I have an opportunity to see it in person.

Stamp club isn't a SU group, she just happens to attend. It's organized and hosted by a couple that own their own rubber stamp company.

The wife enjoys stamping and she shares all her personal stamps with us as well as providing all kinds of supplies for us to use.

Lauri, thank you for the compliment!

Thanks Scrapper69.

I really thought that having a blog would mean that you'd have to know a lot about writing programs.

I'm from the DOS generation and fought using Windows until I could no longer find software that would run on my old PC!

Shirley, aka Okieladybug, tried to tell me it wasn't hard but my response was something like "yeah, right".

I still have no idea how to add anything fancy to my blog. No pretty header with the title, and certainly not the infamous "blinkie" that Okie keeps trying to get people to grab! LOL!
