30 Minute Card - Post #1

I'm going to start a card series titled "30 Minute Card".  Since I tend to make simple cards that can be mass produced, a lot of them take thirty minutes or less to construct.

This Christmas card was made using the stocking from Very Merry Tags.  I cut the full stocking out of red paper, then in Design Studio, I placed the shape again at the edge of the cutting mat and only cut the white part for the stocking cuff.

The card base as well as the stocking cuff was embossed using Cuttlebug folders.  I added some pen work on the stocking and tied on a short piece of baker's twine.

You can quickly print any sentiment you choose using your computer.  I punched mine with a SU Word Window punch and mounted it onto an additional punched shape.

The inside sentiment was printed then cut down to have a red border around the edges.  There's still enough room left on the white paper to add a personal note.

I hope you like the card and will check back to see the others I'll be adding to the 30 Minute series.
