Scallop Trim Border Punch Card

Stampin' Up scallop trim border punch and heart punch were used.  I punched with the border punch first then measured up 3/4" from the punched edge and drew a fine line with a pencil to use as a guide to punch the hearts.

The sentiment was printed on my computer.

Sweet Friend Valentine Card -- 30 Minute Card

It was super easy to cut the hearts using Make The Cut and my Cameo.

The top layer was embossed using a Divine Swirls folder.  The sentiment was computer printed and attached with a matching pink brad.

The embossed layer was adhered onto the pink printed cardstock and pop dotted off the card base.

Blue Gingham Valentine

The swirl is a clip art imagae.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the small hearts and cut the blue heart on my Cameo.   The white heart was done with a Stampin' Up punch and stamp.  It's pop dotted onto the blue scalloped heart for dimension.

30 Minute Card - Three Punched Hearts

Super quick.  Just cut three strips of cardstock 1 3/4" wide by the desired length.  Use Stampin' Up heart punch on the bottom edge.  Then leave a small space between the punched strip and the heart shape.

I embossed the bottom half of the card front with the Divine Swirl folder, added a pre-made bow and two red gems and it was complete.

You could use this for Valentine's Day, a wedding card, or just an I love you card.

Filigree Hearts Card

Using Make The Cut software, I welded some swirls inside the heart shape and resized them to fit an A2 card.

The smaller hearts were done with a Stampin' Up punch and pop dotted for dimension.

I embossed the red strip with a Divine Swirls folder.

White On White Valentine

The heart is a digital image of a Stampin' Up punch that was resized and cut using Make The Cut.

I added a shadow layer and pop dotted the heart for dimension and added some pearls to take up some of the open area behind.

Cutout Heart Card

Seems like forever since I've made a card!  It's been over a month since I've had either the time or energy to work in my craft room.

This card was inspired by one seen online.  Using my Cameo, I cut the heart opening in the dotted cardstock. The heart shapes were embossed with the Brocade Cuttlebug folder.   Then I added a shadow layer to the heart out of the darker pink cardstock, a couple of flowers and a bow.

After adding the pink and off white cardstock underneath the cutout I decided it was too plain so I added some pen work and Pearl Pen dots.

Punched Hearts Card

A Stampin' Up punch was used for the hearts.  I inked the edges and used a Peachy Keen stamp for the face.  They sit on a 2" x 4" rectangle with inked edges and pen work. Inspired by a card seen online.

Rose Wreath Card

I'm particularly pleased with the way this turned out.  I used Make The Cut software to cut a 2.2218 x 2.0312 inch oval from white card stock and then embossed it with a Stampin' Up folder.  A pink shadow layer was added.

The rose wreath stamp is from an old set of Stampin' Up stamps.  It was colored with Pale Pink and Meadow Green Promarkers.

The small pink flowers were done with a Bitty Punch, the greenery is a Martha Stewart  branch punch; the flower centers are Pearl Pen dots.

The card base was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.  The layered ovals are pop dotted for dimension.  The bow is done with Baby Pink ribbon.

Sending Love Card

Designed by Donna Crandall
This card showed up on Card Making USA on Facebook.  It was designed by Donna Crandall as a sympathy card.  I modified her idea to use as an Operation Write Home card.

The envelopes are clip art images, I printed the large sentiment in Hallmark Card Studio, stamped the "Love", and added some inking and pen work. The tiny red heart is a Martha Stewart punch.

The outer edge of the purple paper was shaped with a Memories Direct rotary blade and ruler.

Boom Boom Card

Stampin' Up designer paper was used for the background.  I added the white scallop with a template and gel pen.

The red heart is a Stampin' Up punch.  Since the punch shapes are available in their software, I cut the white shadow as well as the ampersand with my Cameo.

This card was totally inspired by one seen in a stamp catalog.
The words for the front as well as the inside sentiment were printed using Hallmark Card Studio software.

Hearts With Flowers Card

Inspired by a card seen on a Stampin' Up demo blog.  I used Bo Bunny Stained Texture stamp, cut the hearts with my Cameo, punched the little flowers with the Boho Blossom punch and added brads.

Heart and Wings Card

This may just be my favorite card ever!  A mixed media artist from the UK posted a photo on her blog of a frame she made and I adapted her idea for a card.  You can see the original at inkypinkycraft.

I've always thought that white on white layouts were elegant looking.  It took me quite a while to pick papers that fit together for the look I wanted.

Everything was cut in Make The Cut software.  The heart is from Stampin' Up's My Digital Studio.  The wings are from the Cricut cartridge Artiste and the postage stamp frame is from Elegant Edges.  I joined a rectangle inside the stamp shape to create the frame.

The base was embossed with my brocade Cuttlebug folder.  There three pieces of crimped 15.2 m steel wire across the heart.  I pop dotted the frame as well as the wings for dimension. The edges were inked with Chestnut Roan.

iPhone Heart Card

I found a clip art image of a Lego heart and imported it into MTC to cut it out to resemble a pixelated heart.  The heart was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder.
The sentiment was printed in Hallmark card software using Courier New font.
This was inspired by a card seen online.  The caption under the card was "taking the time to do more than text is a real treasure".  Very appropriate these days!

Two Hearts Cherries Card

This card is just so cute!  It's by Sharon Burkert and on her blog As The Ink Dries.  I tweaked her design just a little by adding some inking and pen stitching. I colored the stamped image with a Promarker too.  It's a great card for Operation Write Home!

True Blue Heart Card

This card was designed by Betsy Veldman.  I saw it posted on Pinterest and had to give it a try.

Billionaire cartridge was used to cut the words and George for the hearts.  The sentiment was printed in Hallmark software.  The tiny heart below the cut out letters was done with a Martha Stewart punch.
