Making Christmas Cards -- Day 9

The holly leaves are from a Cricut cartridge.  I traced and cut the bells.  The sentiment is computer printed.
The tags are Graphic 45 punch outs.  I printed the sentiment on my computer and added a punched scalloped border.
The stamps used are from Loads of Love set by Stampin' Up.  I colored the image with Promarkers.
The bell and bow are cut from mica paper.  The image is from a Cricut cartridge.

My Third Card Today

It's funny how I can go several days without seeing a single thing that inspires me to make a card and then in a single day I can find so many things I want to try.

This is another card based on one seen in the June issue of Cards Magazine.  I printed the sentiment and used the Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the frame.  The truck is from SU's Loads of Love stamp set.  It was colored, cut out and then attached to the inside.  I did it that way so I could use my Promarkers and not have any concerns of the ink bleeding through the cardstock onto the card back.

Just an alternate card front.

Loads of Love Valentine Card

I love the little truck in this set of Stampin' Up stamps.  The set includes several different stamps for things to put in the back of the truck so it can be used for a lot of different occasions.

This card gave me an opportunity to use my latest Tim Holt purchase, Vintage Lace dies.  I've used all my border punches so much that I'm tired of seeing them! lol!  I figured the $20 I paid for these dies was cheaper than picking up three new border punches. ***I can always justify a new toy if I really want it!***

These dies are to be used with a Sizzix machine because they're 12" long.  I only have a Cuttlebug, which is fine for doing cards so I had to play around with the cutting sandwich to get it to cut cleanly.
