Western Themed Card

Clip art images, a sentiment printed on my computer and some barn wood printed paper fit together to make a quick, Western themed card.

Roller Skate Card

Inspired by a card seen in a magazine, I searched online and found a clip art image of a shoe skate for this card.

The image was colored with Promarkers, punched out with a 2" circle punch and mounted on a 2 3/8" scallop circle punched shape.

The sentiment is Bethscutehmbold font, printed with Hallmark Card Studio software.

I used an EK Success  binding edge punch on the edge of the lined paper as well as the red background paper.

Monkey and Giraffe Cards

The monkey is a Dustin Pike image colored with Promarkers.  I printed and cut out some clip art leaves to tuck behind the circle.

The star brad is shiny gold colored, guess it picked up a reflection in the photo. 

 The giraffe is free clip art found online.

A-"maze"-ing Card

The plastic maze disks were purchased on the Stampin' Up clearance page online.  I thought they'd make cute kids cards for Operation Write Home.

Using Make The Cut, I cut the card bases and fronts separately, then attached the printed paper onto the card base.

The sentiment was printed on my computer.

I wanted the maze puzzle to be inside the card and just peek through the card front.

After taking the photos, I added a blue circle around the maze.  The clear plastic just didn't show up well on the white background.

I lined up the puzzle with the opening in the card front so it would fit snugly inside the opening.  I'll send a piece of thin foam along with these cards to protect the plastic mazes.

Old West Card

Linda over at Scrapcat Cards blog posted a card almost identical to this one.  I like it!  So, I told her I was definitely going to scraplift it! 

Old West cartridge was used for the wording as well as the horse.  I tend not to cut the tiny layer shapes, like the hooves and mane for the horse, if I can color them with my Promarkers.  Scrapbookers need to keep in mind, I'm working with an area that's 5.5 x 4.25" instead of a 12 x 12" sheet of paper.  Cutting a lot of the Cricut images small enough to fit means that the layering pieces are extremely tiny and hard to manage.

I duplicated her card layout because it's going to be a good one to use for kids or men.  It's going into my cards for soldiers box.

Kid's Birthday Card

The cat image came from Hallmark Card software.  This gave me a chance to use some more of my twine! LOL!

Popsicle Card

Thanks to Deblet on the Cricut Card MB for sharing her card shaped like a popsicle.  Using her idea, I cut the popsicle on Doodlecharms and the lettering from Cindy Loo.


It's another great card for a kid, maybe even a teenager!
