Daisy Hello Card -- 30 Minute Card

I joined a daisy shape onto the edges of a rectangle using Make The Cut software then added 1/2" punched circle centers

The sentiment is CluffHmkBold font, cut with my Cameo.

Inspired by Peg Combes, a Stampin' Up demonstrator, and a card seen on her blog.

I used Lovely as a Tree stamp set.

Hello Card

Now that I'm concentrating on making cards for the local nursing homes I can finally use up the supplies on hand that weren't suitable for OWH cards.

30 Minute Card

This is a good way to use up scraps.  I managed to get the lower portion of the card front and the sentiment from a 4 1/2" x 12" piece of left over orange card stock and complete four cards.

The flowers were done with an older EK Success punch.  The petals were scored on a Martha Stewart scoring board and slightly folded for dimension.  The flower center was done with a Bitty Punch.

Using Make The Cut and Marketing Script font, I cut the word "Hello" and attached it into the white area at the top of the card.  Then I added some pen stitching using a Stampin' Up marker.

Petite Petals Card

The flowers are Petite Petals stamp and punch.  I used Bermuda Bay ink for the flowers and Yellow Oche for the sentiment.  The vines were stamped with Memento Bamboo Leaves ink.  Inspired by a Stampin' Up demonstrator.

Hello Circle Card

I used the negative "hello" cut, added some pen stitching around the outer edge as well as around the letters.  To me, this looks more like a fall themed card than one you'd use when it's mid-summer.

Layered Hello Card

Inspiration from a card by Amy Kolling seen on Pinterest.  I used  PT Banana Split font and cut multiples of the words to layer, added some pen work and the card was done!

"Hello" card

Stampin' Up's pansy punch and flower shop stamp set were used.  I printed the sentiment using Brannonboll Fet font.

The flowers were stamped with tuxedo black Memento ink then the centers were sponged with Dandelion yellow ink.

I saw this card on Dawn Griffith's blog.  She made hers as a gate fold card; I made mine as a standard A2.

Hello 2 U Card

Inspired by a card seen in an older Stampin' Up catalog.  I printed the sentiment and used two EK Success punches for the border and flower.

Baker's Twine Card

This card was designed by Katie Gehring and seen on Pinterest.  Just rows of baker's twine and a simple printed sentiment.

VersaMarker Shadow

It may be hard to see in the photo, but using the VersaMarker to create a shadow around the Cricut cut doily and on the blue lettering makes a big difference in the dimension on this simple card.

The doily is from Art Philosophy and the words are from Cursive 101.  The card layout was inspired by one I saw in Cards Magazine.

And I even used a color wheel!

The colors on this card are just ugly.  I don't care if the Stampin Up color wheel does say that real red,  creamy caramel and old olive go together, or not.  It's a good thing I only cut enough of the caramel and the olive to do two cards!  I'm switching colors, for sure!  LOL!

The coffee cup is a clip art image that I colored with my Promarkers and cut out.  Punched the scallop circle and the bar holding the sentiment.  The silver rounds on each end are some hot-fix embellishments.  I Cuttlebugged the background paper, of course.

This card should win me the "What was she thinking?" award.  LOL!

Tuxedo Card

This one is called "tuxedo" because that's what it reminds me of!  I like the black, red, white combination.

Once again, it was inspired by a card I saw on a blog; imagine that!  LOL!

The placket with the buttons on it was cut 1.5 inches wide, then scored lengthwise .25 from the edge and folded under.  I made faux stitch lines .25 inches from the edge of the folded placket using a marking wheel from my sewing supplies . The stitch lines don't show up in the photos very well.

The shirt style buttons were attached using some pop-dots and I was finished!  They're pearlized buttons and show up sort of ivory colored in the photos but they're white.

Just a little change

After looking at the butterfly card, I decided it needed just a little something.  Using a roller ball pen I added just a tiny border of doodles and I think it helps to break up the transition from the patterned paper to the black.

I forgot to mention that I did use the Cuttlebug die to cut a black shadow for the butterfly and pop dotted it.
