Bird On Wreath Card

This card was based on one seen on a Stampin' Up demonstrator's blog.  She made the wreath using jute cord formed into a circle.  My version uses circles cut from kraft paper using my Cameo and MTC software.

The bird and branches were done with the Bird Builder punch, the sentiment was printed on my PC and then mounted with the Word Window and Modern Label punches.

The background was scored using Martha Stewart's scorboard.  It's a 4 x 5 1/4" rectangle scored at 1/2", 1 1/2", 2 1/2" and 3 1/2".

Owl Punch Card

This card was shown by a Stampin' Up demo named Krista Oldham.  Chocolate Chip cardstock was used for the background; the bamboo printed paper is some I had on hand; the branches and owls were done with SU punches and the sentiment is from a set of SU stamps.

The holes the owls are peeking out of were done with an 1 1/4" round punch and the sentiment was punched with the Word Window punch.

These little owls are cute but sure have a lot of tiny pieces to assemble.  But, I think the finished product was worth the extra work.  I'm doing a dozen of these cards so I've got owls everywhere on my table top!

Big Buckle Card

Splitcoast Stampers has a tutorial on how to make this card here:
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/big_buckle_card/

It uses a SU word window punch but you could easily cut an opening using your Cricut.

card front with "buckle" closed

card open so you can see the strap

just tuck the strap into the opening
