Sitka text font was used for the "thanks".

Trellis Card

The background is embossed with a Tim Holtz bricks folder and inked with Memento London Fog ink.

I cut the trellis using my Cameo.

The leaves are punched shapes.  I added some red Prima flowers and made the centers with Pearl Pen dots.

This was inspired by a card seen online.

Flower Panel Card

Cindy Hall, a Stampin' Up demo, showed a card similar to this a couple of years ago.

The sentiment is Heard from the Heart by Stampin' Up.  I used Lady Bug, Bamboo Leaves and Paris Dusk Memento inks to stamp the flowers.

White Mice Card

Jamie AR Albanese came up with the idea of using punches to create these cute little mice.

An 1 3/4" circle is the body and Stampin Up's full heart punch is the head.  I free handed some black dots for the eyes, punched a hole with a Crop-O-Dile and tied on baker's twine for the tail.  The nose was done with one of the Bitty Punches from Stampin' Up.

Oh My Goodies Card #2

The pink, white and black color combo turned out pretty.  The sentiment is from the stamp set Oh My Goodies. 

A Stamp-a-ma-jig comes in handy to get the image placed properly on the cut out shape.  I do not have the  Deco Label Framelit that goes with this stamp set so I traced it and cut it out using Make The Cut.

Muchas Gracias Card

Totally inspired by a card I saw online, I dug out the old Studio G chihuahua stamp and CASED this card.

I'm taking some thank you and birthday cards to the activity director at Manor Care.  She'll give them out to the residents as they need a card to send.

The stamped images were colored with Promarkers. I fussy cut the cactus and pop dotted it onto the center image; added some Prima flowers with button centers and some pen work.  I was pleased with how cute it turned out!

It's Been A Long Month!

There is a very good reason why nothing has been posted on here since my automated posts on Christmas Eve.  And, they wouldn't have posted if I hadn't set them up several weeks ahead.  My husband had a serious fall on December 10th and just got home from the hospital and rehab yesterday.

I spent the last month driving back and forth to Midwest City to the skilled nursing facility where he received his physical therapy.  It seems like I met myself coming and going.  There was no time or energy to make any cards at all.

He's doing quite well so I sneaked back into my craft room to make a thank you note for the staff at the care facility.  Guess card making is like riding a bicycle.  It was a slow start but I managed to get this done. 

The colors don't show up well in the photo.  They truly do match! lol!  As soon as the Pearl Pen dots dry on the flowers, I'll jot a note inside and get it sent off.

Embossed Flag Card

Pinterest is certainly a great place to find inspiration for making cards.  Patty Mowery made a card similar to this and I saw it posted on there.

The background pieces were embossed with Cuttlebug folders; I added some red strips of cardstock and put pen stitching on those.  The stars and sentiments were done with Stampin' Up punches.

I made several of these and left some without sentiments so they could be used for whatever purpose the OWH personnel want to use them for.  In a recent post on the OWH Facebook page, there was a letter from a soldier requesting patriotic themed cards.  I thought this one would make a good addition to my next shipment.

I would have listed this as another 30 Minute Card, but it did take me quite a bit longer than that to get it all laid out, embossed and assembled.  Still, it's one that you can make in just a short period of time.
