3 Hearts Card

Kraft cardstock makes great card fronts.  This is a re-make of a card I did a couple of years ago.  The hearts were sized and cut using Make The Cut software and my Cameo.  I inked the edges of the card front insert and the hearts and added some pen stitching.

OWH Cards

The apple sign may have been colored by Shirley while at stamp club a few months ago.  I found a sheet of them and decided they'd work up into some quick cards to help fill my box for OWH.

Since DH's accident in December, I haven't made nearly as many cards as usual to send so I'm playing catch-up.

A couple of years ago Provocraft had a clip art
website.  The elephant and sentiment were from a set called Born to be Wild.

Whenever I get totally stumped for card inspiration, I print off some of the comical animals and make some quick cards.

The card base is a premade card from Paper Studio.  I printed and hand cut the leaves and added some Prima flowers with Pearl Pen centers.

I cut and shadowed the stem on my Cameo.  The flowers were done with my latest SU punch.

The sentiment was printed on my computer and then I added some black pen stitching around the edges.

More Butterfly Cards

This was the first one.  I used a SU punch for the striped background piece and a SU three step butterfly punch for the butterflies.  The swirl stamps are some I've had for a long time.
The paper is from a Tim Holtz stack.

I added copper stickles onto the swirls and blue onto the butterflies.
Some Pearl Pen dots onto the swirls.
Just three Pearl Pen dots in the corner
Pearl Pen dots on the swirl and the corner
More copper stickles and blue on the butterflies.

Pen Stitched Card

This card layout came from scrapbook.com.  The original had machine stitching across the hearts.  I used a dark brown marker and made the stitch lines on my version.
