30 Minute Cards

The watermelon is made from three concentric half circles.  I drew the seeds with a marker.  The flower is punched; the sentiment computer printed.

The cup is made of two clip art images, layered with pop dots for dimension.  The heart is punched; the sentiment computer printed.  I added some pearl pen dots for the "steam".

Coffee Cup Card

It's been a long time since I've purchased any supplies for making cards so I treated myself to some Tim Holtz dies and embossing folders.

First I fell in love with the butterflies, then the tea cups and coffee cups.  It was too hard to decide which ones to buy so I just got them all!

The edges are inked with Chestnut Roan.  The band is crimped using a Fiskars crimper.

I printed the sentiment on my computer and added some random coffee bean stamped images.

The dies are Tea Time, Fresh Brewed and Butterfly Duo.

Three Mugs Card

The mugs were traced and cut using Make The Cut software.  The heart was done by inking only a portion of a stamp I've had for years.

The sentiment was printed on my computer.

This should have been a 30 Minute Card, but Suddenlink internet service went off!  All together I spent about 2 hours to complete four of these since I couldn't get online to find a clip art image to trace!

I used a clip art image and several punches to assemble this simple card.

Sand Blasted Ceramic Mug

I wanted to see if I could sandblast a ceramic mug without ruining it.  I like the way it looks.  The etching pretty much just removed the top layer of the colored glaze.

Coffee Cup Card

I stamped the coffee beans onto the base paper and printed the sentiment with Hallmark card software.  The coffee cup is from Savory cartridge and the steam is from Graphically Speaking.

Coffee Cup Card

This card was inspired by one seen in the January issue of Cards Magazine.  The paper is from DCWV Latte Stack; I computer printed the sentiment and used some Stampin' Up punches for the circle shapes.  The little mug stamps are part of a set I've had for a long time.

Another coffee cup card

The coffee cup is some free clip art that is printed onto patterned cardstock and shaded with Promarkers.  I computer printed the sentiment and used some SU punches for the shapes and the corner cut outs.  Pop dotted some buttons on since the card just looked too flat.

Sending you warm thoughts card

The card was inspired by "schirmcat" on Splitcoast Stampers.  I used George to cut the heart. Stamped, colored the coffee cup with my Promarkers and cut it out.
