30 Minute Cards

The watermelon is made from three concentric half circles.  I drew the seeds with a marker.  The flower is punched; the sentiment computer printed.

The cup is made of two clip art images, layered with pop dots for dimension.  The heart is punched; the sentiment computer printed.  I added some pearl pen dots for the "steam".

Watermelon Slice Card

The melon slice is from Cheerful Seasons, imported into Make The Cut and cut on a Cameo.

I've had the sentiment stamp so long that I have no idea what company it's from. But, the combination makes a great summer themed card.

Summery Watermelon Card

I was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest this evening and decided it would be a great summertime card for OWH.

The watermelon was done with 3", 2 3/4", and 2 1/2" circles, layered and cut in half.  The hearts were done with a Martha Stewart punch.  The yellow scalloped border was made with an EK Success border punch and the sentiment was printed with my computer.

Watermelon Card

Thanks to Dawn Griffith for the inspiration to make this card.

I used an old Stampin Up stamp for the sentiment, printed the watermelon images and used circle punches to cut them out, a border punch on the black mat strip and added some doodling.

The watermelon rind has Glossy Accents on it to add some dimension and there are Pearl Pen dots in the upper right hand corner.

Summer Fun Cards

It's definitely summertime in Oklahoma!  Over 30 days with temperatures over 100°, and it's not even August yet!  So, it seemed appropriate to make some summer themed cards this afternoon.

The ants were computer printed onto white card stock, trimmed, and I used SU border punches on the edges.
I made the watermelon halves using an 1.25" circle punch and an 1.5" scalloped circle punch, inked the edges and added some seeds with a gel pen.

A little doodling with a Signo pen and adding a bow gave the cards just a little more dimension,
The idea was inspired by a card seen on Splitcoast Stampers.

Summertime Cards

Okieladybug shared her word circle with me for this one.  The watermelon slice came from the Block Party cartridge.

I wanted to play with my Promarkers today and this was the largest flower image I could locate.  It's a digi stamp that I found online (perhaps it's a Dustin Pike digi?).   The Promarkers make shading so simple!
