Birthday Cutout Card

Inspired by Jennifer Hawkins
What appears to be a simple birthday card has taken me over two hours to get five of them cut and assembled!

When I saw this card online, I couldn't tell if the words "happy" were cut out of colored cardstock and applied to the white background, or if they were cut out of the white with colored cardstock underneath.  I tried cutting the words from colored cardstock and applying them and the card was just totally flat looking.

Then I set up a file and cut the "happy" three times out of the white background and layered it on top of narrow strips of colored cardstock.  It made all the difference in the world in the appearance of the card.

The font I used is Lobster 1.4 and the smaller ones are less than 1" high.
