The images are from Stampin' Up set called Growing Green.

I colored them with Promarkers and fussy cut the rose.

Three Roses Die Cut Card

It seems like forever since any new cards have been posted on here.  It's been a rough July for me; not feeling well at all, and just now feeling up to doing some crafting again.

The rose die used on this came with a card making magazine from the UK.

The background on the card appears to be embossed in the photo but it's actually white on white die cuts of the rose itself. Two of the roses are glued onto the center rectangle and the top one was pop dotted for dimension.

It took quite a while to get the die cuts done and assembled.  There are a total of 14 die cuts on the card front.  Now I remember why I bought an electronic cutter!

Red Rose Card

With some help from members on the Silhouette Facebook page, I traced the rose, did a print and cut, then colored them with Promarkers.

The leaves were cut using Stampin' Up's digital image of their Little Leaves Sizzlet and Make The Cut software.

I stamped a 3" square of red cardstock with Stampin' Up's En Francias stamp and Whisper White ink.

After I pop dotted the rose onto the red square, I added some Pearl Pen dots on the corners.

Inspired by a card seen online.

Victorian Image Card

The vintage photo as well as the rose was found online.  I utilized the print and cut feature on my Cameo to cut out the roses.

I saw a tag online very similar to this and thought it would make a nice card layout.

The lace under the rose is just a medallion cut from some yardage.  I printed the quote and inked the edges for some dimension and was very pleased how it turned out.

Red Rose Card

Inspired by a card seen online, I stamped the red square mat with white ink, added a clip art rose and some leaves I cut with my Cameo.  Then I added some pen stitching around the outer edge. Both the red mat and the rose are pop dotted for dimension.

Fussy Cut Card

Almost every stack of paper that I buy has sheets in it with images that are too big to use for A2 sized cards.
Sometimes I can use portions of those pages by doing what's called a fussy cut.

The roses on this paper were spaced so far apart that they wouldn't look right as a card background, so I just cut them out individually to use as accents.
