"Hanging Heart" Valentine

Using Hallmark Card Studio, I printed the sentiment onto white cardstock in each of four sections.  This gave me four card fronts.  Then I placed the cardstock onto the cutting mat for my Cameo and cut the heart opening.

Once the hearts were cut out, I used a guillotine cutter and cut it into four pieces 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" to make four fronts and trimmed 1/4" off two edges.  That allows the red card base to show.

A Divine Swirls folder was used to emboss each of the four fronts.  Then I added a small piece of baker's twine and a pre-made bow.

A smaller heart was cut then pop dotted for dimension.  I coated the small heart with Crystal Stickles.

This idea came from a Stampin' Up demonstrator's blog.

Three Daisies Springtime Card

The daisy is from the April Showers Cricut cartridge, cut on my Cameo.  I hand embossed the petals on the daisies.

I used Swiss Dots and Divine Swirls Cuttlebug folders to emboss the background.

Milk and Cookies Card

The cow was cut using From My Kitchen.  It's cut at 2" and using Design Studio I flipped the image so the cow would be facing left.  *** I knew if I didn't flip the cow, that Okieladybug would make a smart remark about the cookies being behind the cow! ***  The black spots, hooves and nose were colored with Promarkers.

The tiny cookies were cut by hand from a sheet out of a Paper Studio stack named Sugar and Spice and pop dotted onto the grass.

Hallmark card making software was used to print the sentiment on the background.  I used a Divine Swirls embossing folder to give the grass some dimension and inked the edges.

*****After this was posted, I entered it into a challenge on a site called Bitten by the Bug 2.  Be sure to check out the blog!  Just scrolling through a couple of pages I've seen so many wonderful card ideas using your Cricut machine! *******

"Hi" Flower Card

This card looks so simple but it took me forever to get the components just right and assembled.  I stamped the flower onto patterned paper and cut it out by hand.  Used a SU punch on the blue background piece and hand drew the notebook paper lines.  A Martha Stewart punch was used on the double border on the bottom and the Divine Swirls folder was used to emboss the white background.

The flower center is a white SU punch with a button and twine attached.  I hand cut the flower stem and punched the leaf with another MS punch.
