This recipe came from a Weight Watcher's cookbook. I think it needs to be a little sweeter so next time I'll add a little more brown sugar. This afternoon I smoked a pork loin and this is the sauce I served with it.
CRANBERRY-JALAPENO SAUCE
1 (12 oz.) bag fresh
cranberries
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded
and chopped
1/3 cup packed dark brown
sugar
2 T. red wine
Pinch of salt
Combine all ingredients in a
nonreactive saucepan and bring to a boil.
Boil 1 minute, then reduce heat to low.
Simmer until berries pop and mixture is thick, about 10 minutes. Cool and serve.
