Yesterday I spent a couple of hours working with some Tim Holtz papers and images trying to get a card front "just right".
Carrie Elmore suggested adding some color to the rather
sepia toned butterflies and this is the final version of the card.
It's the look I was trying to achieve, sort of dark and grungy but until I added the Broken China and Vintage Photo distress ink, the butterflies just blended in to the background.
I softened the clock faces by stamping them with StazOn rather than the Tuxedo Black Memento ink too.

I do agree--the touch of color on the butterflies looks great!
