Winter Silhouette Card

The silhouette image is from A Child's Year cartridge.  I embossed the background with a snowflake folder and added three different sized punched snowflakes using blue mica paper.  The bottom border was done with a Martha Stewart punch.

I decided it was too plain and added a red bird.  What do you think?  With or without the bird?

Let It Snow

The snowflakes were done with a tiny punch from WalMart.  I printed the sentiment and the snowman's head using Hallmark Card Studio software and added a scalloped border with a punch.

Snowman Card

I saw this snowman on Danita Kinney's blog.  She had cut him out of vinyl for a charger plate.  I thought he was cute but needed a little tweaking for the idea I had in mind.

The original image came from Deb's Oodles of Doodles blog.  It was a coloring page.  The snowman is surrounded by eleven falling snowflakes, which I did not want to use.  Shirley, aka Okieladybug, explained to me how I could delete the snowflake images and leave just the snowman image using my Paint program.

I printed the snowman twice and cut out the mittens, feet and hat to pop dot them.  They're colored with Promarkers.  The snowflakes were punched into the card front to let the blue card base paper show through.  I added some pen stitching around the outer edge of the card.

Embossed Snowman Card

This Cuttlbug folder doesn't get used much.  I really like the design on it, I just forget about it when I'm doing winter themed cards.

I highlighted the snowman with Stampin' Up and Promarkers.  The mug is from Love You a Latte cartridge and the heart border is a Martha Stewart punch.

Ice Cream Cone Snowman

The ice cream cone is from Sweet Shop and the snowman hat is from Paper Trimmings.  I used a Peachy Keen stamp that my friend, Robin Bogle, sent me for the face.

Let it Snow! Card

The snowman image is free clip art found online and colored with Promarkers.  I embossed the base with a Cuttlebug folder and added a premade bow.

I found these tiny bows in the Christmas ornament aisle at Hobby Lobby a few years ago.  Every year I buy two or three more packages to have on hand.  Much less stressful than tying bows this small! The only regret is that I can only find red ones.

Snowman Card

Found this cute little snowman on Pinterest this morning.  By using Microsoft Word, I was able to print four per sheet in black and white and then I colored them with Promarkers.

Here's the inside sentiment.  I wanted to use one that wasn't specifically for Christmas.

CASED Snowman Card

This card could definitely fall into the 30 Minute Card series since all the pieces are so quick to make and assemble.

I used Savory cartridge, since I have it, to cut the carrot nose and the Stampin' Up owl punch for the eyes and mouth pieces.  The snowflakes are also punches.  I hand cut the blue for the hat and red for the scarf.

Total credit for this card goes to Krafting with Karen.  It was posted on Pinterest.
