Winter Silhouette Card

The silhouette image is from A Child's Year cartridge.  I embossed the background with a snowflake folder and added three different sized punched snowflakes using blue mica paper.  The bottom border was done with a Martha Stewart punch.

I decided it was too plain and added a red bird.  What do you think?  With or without the bird?

 

Mittens Winter Themed Card

The mittens are from the Artiste cartridge, modified and cut in Make The Cut software.  I added some white Signo pen trim on the cuffs and attached some baker's twine onto the back.

The tag is something I had on hand; I colored the reinforced circle with an Old Olive Stampin' Up marker, shaded the edges and stamped a small sentiment across the bottom edge.

The snowflakes were done with an EK Success punch I found at WalMart two years ago.

Warm Winter Wishes Card

The only thing I used my Expression for on this one was to cut the steam above the mug from Graphically Speaking.  The cup on that cartridge didn't have the sturdy mug shape I wanted so I printed some clip art mugs onto printed paper and cut them out by hand.

The snowflake is a Martha Stewart punch and the border is an EK Success punch.  I computer printed the sentiment.

These will go into the box of Christmas cards for Operation Write Home and can be used throughout the winter season.
