Post-It Note Holder

This design is from the Silhouette store #63972 titled 3D Easel Sticky Note Holder Tall by Jamie Cripps.  Thank goodness there's link on the design page to her blog or I'd never have figured out how to assemble it!

The original version has an easel so it will stand upright.  I never did figure out how to attach the easel as it appears in her tutorial but that's okay.  I modified it a bit so I can just put magnetic strips on the back and stick it onto the refrigerator.

This is my prototype so I just grabbed some coordinating papers to use.  I plan to do some of these for Christmas gifts and have a lot of embellishments to add.

Post-It Note Holders

Dawn Griffith shares how to make these post-it note holders on her Stampin' Up blog Dawn's Stamping Studio.   You can make three of them from a single sheet of 12" x 12"cardstock.

I used some paper doilies, butterflies, leaf stickers and Pearl Pen dots on mine.  The little pens can be found at Staples in a multi-pack.

 These are made with clear acrylic frames with the easel on the back.

 I used scrapbook paper and K & Company borders with some adhesive pearls on this one.



Both of these are 4" x 6" in size.



The Tart & Tangy stamp set from Stampin' Up was one of the first sets I ever bought.  I still use it a lot!

 These were done the same way.  They're 3 1/2" x 5" size.  I cut and pop dotted some of the border pieces on these.

These are 4" x 6".  On the yellow one I used some flowers I found at Michael's.  The blue denim one has paper from a Paper Studio stack.

Instructions to do these are everywhere on the internet.  I know Dawn Griffith has a tutorial on her blog with dimensions, etc. if you feel like you need them.

Last year Okie and I went out to dinner and I grabbed a handful of the cardboard coasters they had stacked on the table.  They're perfect, not to mention free!, for making these.  I won't divulge the name of the restaurant since it's a country wide chain and I'd hate for them to run out of coasters before I get a chance to go back and get more!  LOL!

If you don't have a Bind-it-all, just make a paper hinge for them.  I think that's the way Dawn did hers.

The orangutan is a clip art image from PC Crafter.  The ladies in the tub is an image I found online.

When I saw the little fat ladies in the tub I fell in love with them.  I have a wine group of rather "portly" women that meet at my house.  I made these as favors for all of them.  The 3 x 3 post-it pads fit inside perfectly.

These make great quick little gifts for just about any occasion.  I picked up 12 packs of the Post-it pads at Staples last weekend for one $1.  They were on sale as part of their school supply specials.  The only real expense on these was the binding wires but they can easily be made with a paper hinge instead.
