Just making cards this afternoon...

The newest Stampin' Up catalog arrived today which is always good news.  The bad news is you can't order from it yet!  There is always something in it that I want to make NOW!  lol!  So I used my Cameo and some stamps to make my version of their project.

The sunglasses are from Forever Young cartridge.  I used a Peachy Keen stamp for the sun's face and added some ink on the cheeks.  The sentiment was printed in Hallmark Card Making software.

I saw a card similar to this online and dug out some stamps I've owned for several years to make this one.  The flower is inked with Rhubarb Stalk and I colored the leaves with a Promarker.

Tongue in Cheek Mother's Day Card

The frame is from Elegant Edges; the silhouette if from Forever Young Cricut cartridges.  I cut them on my Cameo with Make The Cut software.

The flowers are from the bridal section at Michael's.

This sentiment was seen online.  I thought it was cute and decided to make a "tongue in cheek" Mother's Day card with it.

Forever Young card

This girl has attitude!  You can tell with her hands on the hips, no nonsense stance!  When Forever Young came out I knew it was a caratridge I had to have.  It has purses and shoes on it and I collect shoes!  The eyeglasses remind me of my very first pair that I got when I was in the sixth grade.  They were blue, cat-eye and had a couple of rinestones on the corners.  Back then, that was all the rage.

The eyeglasses are cut from mica paper, the butterfly is a MS punch and I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder on it.  There are stickles on her belt as well as the handbag for a little bling.
