Baby Card

My neighbor asked me to make a card for a "grandmother shower".  A group of ladies are going to present the future grandmother with some baby items to have at her house.

I used New Arrival to cut the word "baby".  It's part of the phrase "baby shower" on the cartridge and I was able to eliminate the "shower" and make the shadow as well in Design Studio.

The yellow and white flowers are done with punches. I added some pen stitching to the edge and was done.

I matted the sentiment "Tiny little thing, great big blessing." for the inside.

Sending You Love Card

New Arrival was used to cut the miniature envelope.  The hand image was found online, colored with Promarkers and cut out by hand.  The tiny heart is a Martha Stewart punch.

This is the first card I made using these elements just as a trial.  I'll be changing up the background paper and adding a sentiment now that I see how it's going to go together.  ****edited to add:  I ran the top envelope flap through the Cuttlebug to add some texture to the envelope.  Love it!****

This envelope could be enlarged to hold a gift card.  I think the card itself would work great as a Valentine or even as an invitation for a party or shower.

Monkey Card

A neighbor asked me this afternoon to make a new baby card with a monkey on it.  I'm not a big fan of the monkey on New Arrival cartridge but here's what I came up with.

Since the baby's nursery is being decorated with monkeys I thought the sentiment would be okay.

The monkey was cut at 3" and the words came from Wild Card cartridge.
