There are hundreds of recipes online to make turkey burgers but they all make a larger amount than I need at a single time. This is what I came up with today using the 99% fat free ground turkey that's zero points on the new Weight Watcher Freestyle program.
BLACK BEAN TURKEY BURGERS
Makes 3 servings
Zero points on Freestyle program
8 oz. 99% fat free ground turkey
½ cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
¼ cup diced onion
¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
½ tsp. ground cumin
Salt and pepper
Place beans into a 2-quart mixing bowl and mash with a potato masher.
Add other ingredients and mix well. Divide mixture into 3 portions and shape into patties.
Spritz a non-stick skillet with oil and fry patties until internal temperature reaches
