Next week my grandson starts first grade. He's come for his last week day visit for a while and we've been doing some crafty things. I saw this idea today online and we decided to make a supply box for his new teacher.
I placed a piece of paper inside so the lettering would be more visible.

The box is filled with items some of the students may need and not have. Essentials such as pencils, pens, glue sticks, erasers, etc. Then we added a few pieces of chocolate candy as emergency teacher fuel!
