The latest issue of Cardmakers has at least given me some new inspiration. But, I'm ready to move on to some other type of cards for a while.
scalloped circle-Graphically Speaking, used Brocade Cuttlebug folder on it
hearts- George, used DS to size them
rounded corners with corner chomper
added some doodledots
sheer ribbon from Hobby Lobby
computer printed the sentiment
There's still quite a bit of the Valentine themed Little Yellow Bicycle paper left over. I used 3 different pattterns on this one trying to take advantage of it. I punched the heart with a SU punch and ran it through the Cuttlebug.
When I'm doing a card and wind up with 1" strips of white cardstock left over, I save them and have them ready to punch borders out of. This is an old Fiskars border punch. I think the stamp I used is a Studio G. White embossing powder and a little bow and I was done! The paper is more of the LYB, it's sort of a metallic red so embossing on it was a test. I figured with the high gloss on the paper, the heat gun might ruin it but it worked out pretty well.

George came with my baby bug so I've always had it. Back then, there weren't so many cartridges available and George was used all the time to make our own cut files.
I don't care for the alphabet on it, but use it constantly for basic shapes.
Wow you was busy! You will be glad you have those valentines done when the date gets nearer. I still have some more to make myself. I can't wait to start on Easter cards. I know its early but I love the pastel colors. Especially after all the red and green.
