Last week I delivered a large box of cards to the rehab center that my husband used following some surgeries. The activities director was very appreciative and asked if I could do some Christmas cards for the residents. We visited for a few minutes and she told me they average 85 residents and I agreed to make enough cards for everyone. Since the number of residents varies and I wanted to have some cards that the residents could use to send to their family members or to exchange with others in the facility, I rounded the number up to 100.
A few days later a friend let me know that she's been given the task of making cards for 150 additional residents at two other centers and I told her I'd get as many made for her as possible.
These are the cards I've completed so far. Twenty five down and a lot more to go!
The sentiment was computer printed. The tree is from Lovely as a Tree stamp set. I added some red Stickles dots for trim on the tree.
The candy cane image is a print and cut that I had left over from last year's cards. The background was embossed with a snowflake folder.
We R Memory Keeper border punch was used for the lower edge. I cut the tree with my Cameo and added Stickles dots for trim.
The Santa face is a clip art image. The border was done with a We R Memory Keeper punch.
The sentiment was stamped. I added some pen work with a white gel pen to the upper and lower edges of the red card front. The red portion is cut off so the sentiment shows across the bottom of the interior.
Same card, just with a solid red front.
I just cut out the clip art Santa face and pop dotted it for dimension.
The snowman is a print and cut image.
The jar is a print and cut image. I printed the word on the band around the jar. The sentiment is a stamp I've had for a long time.
