Using my Cameo and Make The Cut software, I cut a template, 5 1/4 x 4" with an oval cut out in the center. The template was placed onto a piece of white cardstock the same size and I sponged inside the oval cut out with Bermuda Bay ink.
The flowers are part of the Petite Petals stamp set. It's not visible in the photo, but, I used a metallic gel pen to add some sparkle to the flower centers and outlined the oval.

Hi Linda - I am new to card making, so want to make sure I understand the steps you did, because this is beautiful! So you cut your template, placed it on a piece of white cardstock, sponged inside the oval, then stamped your flowers inside the oval. Did you then add another piece of white cardstock with an oval cut out on top of that?
ReplyDeleteWith the template in place, sponge the outer edge of the oval space and stamp the darker flowers. That way you can stamp with a portion of the flower on the template and it will give the appearance of the flower peeking out from behind the oval.
ReplyDeleteRemove the template.
You'll have the colored portion on the white card mat. Then stamp and punch out the other flowers and use pop dots to place them in between the stamped flowers on the white base.
Hope this answered your question.
