Inexpensive Paper Storage

A while back I posted on the Cricut MB how I used some recycled Priority Mail boxes to store my 12 x 12 paper.

Here are a couple of photos of one of the boxes.  The measurements I used are shown on the Post-it notes.

They work just as well as the Cropper Hoppers and they're free!  LOL!

Before Okie bought her Cropper Hoppers she had a lot of paper stored this way.  After I was able to buy my Jetmax cubes this was the cheapest thing I could come up with to hold mine.  I have since purchased several of the Cropper Hoppers but still have eight of these in my cubes.

  3. Thank you for sharing this again. I saved some of my boxes the last time you posted these and I've not done anything w them yet. Now I have no excuse...another thing on my to do list. If I'd get away from my computer, I might get more accomplished.

  8. Hi there! I love this idea and I am getting ready to redo my scrapbook room! Curious, what size box were these to begin with?
    Thanks so much!

  9. Wendy: I've cut all mine down to use so the best dimensions I can give you are that they were a little bigger than 12H x 12W and approximately 2 3/4" deep.

I had a couple that were too wide to go into my Jetmax cubes (more than the 2 3/4") so they must have more than one box that's close to this size.

  10. How easy was that? I made 4 in less than 10 minutes and the best part of all was it did not cost DH a dime. *all smiles*

  13. That's why the post office keeps raising their prices and closing offices resulting in unemployed family wage earners.

  14. Hey, Anonymous! If you'd bothered to read my blog post, you'd see that these are made from RECYCLED boxes.

Rather than just tossing them in the trash, I got one more use out of them.
