That way you can stamp with a portion of the flower on the template and it will give the appearance of the flower peeking out from behind the oval.<br /><br />Remove the template. <br /><br />You'll have the colored portion on the white card mat. Then stamp and punch out the other flowers and use pop dots to place them in between the stamped flowers on the white base.<br /><br />Hope this answered your question. So you cut your template, placed it on a piece of white cardstock, sponged inside the oval, then stamped your flowers inside the oval.
